Pros:
-compact
-stores and transports easily
-affordable
-retractable cords, magnetic base to hook each of the speakers together.
Cons:
-sound. Even with the speakers extended it sound very brassy, some treble high songs Sound grating.

These are some of the best portable speakers in this price range on the market. Great sound quality, and enough base to shake a small table, even at the higher sound levels.
Pros:
-Great portability, even comes with carrying case for cable and speakers
-Good sound quality, even at higher levels
-Easy to charge, easy to use
-Most cables are built into speakers, and are retractable
-Plugs into anything with a standard headphone jack: I use these with my ipod, laptop, and DS.
Cons:
-Have to keep track of charging cable
-Some distortion of vocals at higher sound levels

Good things really do come in small packages. These little speakers are very portable and offer wonderful sound quality. Set-up is quick and easy and they just look cool. Excellent product.

I bought these on Amazon for travel on a motorbike on long distance. I am loving them. Like others have said before, they won't fill the room but they're a whole lot better than my laptop speakers (as I happen to have the laptop with the worst speakers ever (toshiba NB200 netbook)), they seem to be sturdy as they survived the first two months of my trip, they have a very neat design, they last long enough on one charge of the battery, they're louder than I expected and I even like the pouch which is a bit spongy and thick and gives excelent protection on long rough travel like I am doing. They're very very compact too and that's about the most important thing to me. I doubt if there's a better product out there for this price. If you know of one then let me know.
One drawback could be the charging system. It takes a female mini usb adapter to charge it wich, of course, I lost or was never sent. So now after the batteries have drained for the first time I'm without sound... But if you're slightly more organized than I am you shouldn't have that problem.
Don't know how long they will last but by design I think they could last a long time.
Highly recommended.
