 Print Configuration Problems September 3, 2010

I used this program on my old laptop using Windows XP and had no probelm printing cards, although the "borderless" function did not work and there was always a 1 1/2 white border around the front on the card. When I bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and loaded the program, I began having printer configuration issues. Everytime I print a card, the program goes through the whole set up printer process, wasting paper, ink, and time. Tech support insists that I need to replace the PrintConfig.ini file. I did so, multiple times, and the problem remains. Tech support insist it should work and that there must be a "user" error. I am not a PC novice and have successfully replaced the ini file with the one they sent. Tech support cannot come up with any other solution, and, after 6 weeks, their emails are getting less than customer friendly. I have asked for either a refund or a replacement with a comparable program--but I no longer have the receipt or original box (trashed both when it worked OK on 1st laptop). I have not heard back.

Product is not worth the money limited to choose from childish in design. Ok if your only sending kids cards out. I would of choose different software knowing the selections available to pick from. Only good thing I found if your running windows 7 does run well with operating system.

This is easy to install, easy to maneuver, and easy to run. You can create almost anything with this program. You can even create matching envelopes to go with your cards. It is fun and allows you to be creative. Oh, did I mention, it is handy too. No last minute running to the store for that card, you must to have.

we have been using the 1997 version of Hallmark Studio, OMG... We are so excited to use the new 2010. It has been alot of fun. All of our friends keep asking me to make cards for them. I finally gave them this amazon link,and said" go buy your own program"..2 people have since bought their own..Thanks Hallmark!!!
