This is definitely not a zenbook, but it is a very powerful little ultralight. It weighs in at what a 13" should and with the exception of the oversized 8 cell batter(not so big as to detract from the overall appeal) it comes in at an inch pretty much all the way around. Closes flat, a must have for me, excellent opening angle on the screen, wish they had a matte variant of the screen, but asus did put a very good looking screen on these babies. I seriously can’t tell the difference between the 1080p on my dv6tqe and the 720p on this laptop, the 14" actually looks a little sharper in my opinion. Speakers suffice, but seriously now, its a laptop, buy some freaking headphones if its that important to you. Keyboard is amazing, typing is so smooth I don’t even miss backlighting on it. Trackpad is touchy with regards to the palm of your hand brushing it, and buttons do have a "cheap" feel to them, but all in all I can deal with it; took the multi-touch tutorial and when you get comfortable with it you won’t need the mouse buttons. I like the asus standard overclocking settings, and 10hr battery life is incredible. I would suggest this computer to anyone. Its light, its thin, its portable and powerful and looks nice.
